What is Voters Revolt?

You must be asking yourself "What is this Voters Revolt?" 

First, what it isn't. It is not an organisation or another wannabe party.  Voters Revolt has no members, no leaders, no rules, no records, no subscriptions, no money.

It is an idea.  A name for the growing feeling of resentment and rebellion among ordinary men and women.  A way to bring power back to the people.

Are you one of the many Britons who feel powerless?  At the mercy of a remote faceless "them" who rule our lives and treat our wishes and opinions with contempt?  Do you think there is little point in voting in elections?  Do you feel strongly that many things are wrong with today's Britain?   Do you support a local or national campaign, fighting for or against something important to you?  Finding it difficult to get the powers-that-be to take any notice of you?

This is how most of us feel.  Yet the arrogant smooth-tongued elite - the ruling establishment - the "great and the good and the greedy" - are only a few thousands.  We are millions.  They control the power of the over-mighty State.  But we have the strength of numbers. 

The State exists for us - not vice versa.

We all have different priorities in life - family, work, just keeping our heads above water.  A multitude of diverse interests, views and aims.  No one could ever make us all think the same or march to the same tune.   We British are individuals.  We never have liked to be dragooned.  We don't like it when "they" tell us what to do or think.

Voters Revolt is a way we free men and women can stand together to make one demand no one should disagree with - "Give us back our democracy".

These pages try to explain what has gone wrong - why British democracy is seriously ill, on the point of death.  Most important - Voters Revolt offers a way to cure the disease and restore power to the people.  All it needs is for us to back this one demand, using our numbers to drag the country back from the brink of tyranny.
